Job Description:

Seeking an experienced QA Analyst with more than 7 years experience to work with the development team, project management, and operations to ensure the requirements and design are translated into efficient test case design and implementation. At least 5 years experience with Backend/Application Server Testing is essential.
Experience in a Lead QA Role is a major plus. The ideal candidate must be able to interpret requirements and develop test cases based on those requirements and system QA practices. This position will also execute test cases/scripts and accurately and concisely report both progress and defect status. In addition, the QA Analyst will work with the customer during user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities:

Assure consistency between requirements, analysis, design, and the developed application

Provide third level support for implementation and production issues

Facilitate issue/conflict resolution

Work closely with Development, PMO and operations to ensure all products, applications, or data go through quality scrutiny

Perform quality assurance testing activities including, but not limited to: regression, integration, functional, and system testing

Develop and maintain test plans. Write and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data

Identify defects as a result of testing

Participate in various functional and design specification reviews

Technologies involved in the testing Java/J2EE, XML, Oracle, UNIX

Must have the ability to work with minimal direction on multiple projects

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Four year degree in a relevant field or an equivalent amount of post-secondary education and experience

Three-plus years previous business experience with TestManager, ClearQuest

At least 5 years experience with Backend/Application Server Testing is a MUST

UNIX, Oracle, and SQL experience are a must

Experience with testing methodologies and process implementation
